Effective March 1, 2012, Mooney Movers, one of Stevens Worldwide Van Lines highest rated agents, with headquaters in Albuquerque, NM, acquired the operations Premier Movers Mesa, Arizona warehouse. Gill Baca, President of Mooney Movers, stated that the expansion into the Phoenix Arizona market is a natural fit for Mooney Movers. After purchasing Mooney Movers in Albuquerque they made great strides in that market by providing quality service. Gill and his wife/partner Kathy, have relocated to Mesa to take full control of the newly aquired operation and plans are in place to make Mooney Movers of Arizona a major player in the Arizona market including Phoenix, Mesa, Tempe, Scottsdale, Gibert, Chandler, Queen Creek and Fountain Hills. Mooney Movers of Arizona will also serve Tucson, Payson, Flagstaff and the western Arizona communites on the Colorado River.
Mooney Movers will service the entire state of Arizona. As it has in the Albuquerque New Mexico area, the Mooney Movers operations staff brings increased capacity to serve this market and will bring the "Stevens Worldwide Van Lines" name and reputation for quality service to both the COD and the Corporate customer. Mooney Movers is well known for their community involvement with many sponsorships of local organizations and their help in the "Move for Hunger" campaign to help the local community food bank in Albuquerque.
